April Newsletter

May 6, 2019

I would like to welcome all the new homeowners to our community, hope your enjoying your new home and neighborhood. This weekend on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 8am to 3pm, will be our community wide garage sale. It’s a good way of doing some spring cleaning and get to know your neighbors.

We will be having our 2nd Quarter H.O.A. members meeting at Beltway North Church, off Hwy 351, on April 16th from 7pm. To 9pm.  All are welcome to attend and we hope to have a good turnout.

I know there is a lot of talk about the curb inspections that are going on. It’s not a job any of us enjoy doing, so for the past 2 years, we have been very lenient on enforcing the deed restrictions. However as it was stated in the last two newsletters, at the request of several concerned residents, they were going to be enforced. Every homeowner signed a homeowner’s agreement when purchasing your home to abide by these restrictions and some refuse to do so.

I would like to ask each of you to take your time and slowly drive the whole neighborhood and look for yourself and just see why we are diligently trying to enforce them, and maybe you will have a better understanding.  Enforcing the restrictions is part of being on the board, but not a part of the volunteering that we enjoy doing. We hope that those violators will start taking more pride in their homes and the community itself.

To those of you who take excellent care of your home, we appreciate you.  You make our job, as volunteer board members, easier.

You can find the restrictions and bylaws at heritageparksabilene.com.

Thank You,
Johnny Anders, President, HOA
