2017 4th Quarter Members Meeting Minutes
Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 7:00pm
Location: Beltway Park Church North Campus, Abilene, TX
Board Members in Attendance:
- President: Johnny Anders
- Vice President: Vlad Gorbenko
- Treasurer: Gale Armstrong
- Officer/Bookkeeper: Nell Wood
- Officer/Special Events and acting Secretary: Chris Smith
Meeting called to order: 7:02pm
Agenda:
- Open with silent prayer
- Introduce New Residents; Bruce Mitchell, Terry Rich on Patriot Commons, Jordan Brown on Founders Place, Mike and Lisa Murphey on Bunker Hill
- Approve minutes from last meeting (7/20/17)
- Approved as presented
Business:
- Reviewed the Heritage Park website; minutes and agendas will be updated there
- No increase in dues at this time, we will re-evaluate summer of 2018
- Reviewed Financial Report
- Addressed the problem with Quick Books online to explain the previous problems with some of our statements
- We have collected $10,500 YTD arrearage in 2017.
- Reviewed plats for new construction
- They will be included in the Heritage Parks Home Owners Association
- Reviewed plans via video for landscaping of the entrance of East Lake Road and Hwy 351
- A member suggestion of brighter, better lighting on East Lake Rd.
- Voted Board Members are to run a two (2) year staggered term.
- Approved; no voiced dissention
- Beginning January 1st billing will be semi-annually or annually; you may use bank draft, pay online (if we have your email address), or send a check.
New Business:
- Harry Rowlands of Bunker Hill. Rats chewed power and telephone lines from the tenants next door and he received an anonymous, rude letter calling him a “snitch”
- Harry Rowlands of Bunker Hill mentioned the fact that there is a painting sign in a yard which is against the by-laws.
- Johnny Anders mentioned that the curb inspector is writing violations
